Barnett Vineyards Winemaker’s Dinnerat the Grill on Main
Thursday December 6, 7 to 10 p.m.
Barnett Vineyards from Napa Valley will do a wine-dinner takeover with Chef Brett Maddock at The Grill on Main. Winemaking and viticulture practices at Barnett Vineyards are influenced by the artisan craft of making wines by hand. In Napa at top of Spring Mountain, the winery is visited by appointment, so it is a truly special occasion to have this evening with Barnett Vineyards at The Grill on Main. The four exquisite wine and food pairings that will be served are:
Chardonnay with Scallop Carpaccio – Pan-seared and thin sliced, shaved radish, cucumber, pickled red onion, micro-cilantro & truffle ponzu sauce.
Pinot Noir with Prosciutto Wrapped Pacific Snapper, Artichokes, Green Beans, Creamy Polenta & Piperade Sauce
Cabernet with Balsamic-Braised Short Ribs, Smoked Tomatoes, Romano Cheese & House Risotto.
Each wine produced at Barnett Vineyards is either estate bottled or from a single vineyard in another viticulture district chosen by Barnett. The estate vineyards at the top of Spring Mountain in Napa are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. Wines are aged in French Oak barrels. Limited amounts of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are also produced and sourced from single vineyards located in desirable appellations.
Come early and enjoy Parisian jazz musician Jeremie Levi Samson Trio a La Francaise from 5:00 to 8 p.m. on the lawn on this First Thursday!
