This fundraiser for The DuBarry Hay Foundation features Health and Wellness vendor displays, a raffle and a family fun zone along with guided yoga on the lawn at 2:00, Kellee McQuinn and KidTribe on the stage at 3:00, a beer garden that opens at 4:00 and an Art of Sax concert from 5 to 7 p.m. Sax player Will Donato’s new hit single “Infinite Soul” reached #1 on Billboard for Smooth Jazz. The Health & Wellness Fest is the first fundraiser organized by the DuBarry Hay Charitable Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to creating and bolstering mental health initiatives for teens and young adults in Coachella Valley. The foundation is dedicated to “turning trauma into strength”.
Kellee is known as “The Pied Piper with a Boom Box! She’s a Tedx speaker, authority on youth and wellness, and has personally worked with over 3 million children to promote health and wellbeing. She received the Community Leadership Award by the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition in 2010. First Lady Michelle Obama invited KidTribe to partner with the Let’s Move Initiative and headline Hoopersize at the White House Easter Egg Roll.
