It’s “Only” Golf Clothes…Not!
Whether you live in the desert or are just visiting, you’ve probably noticed it’s quite casual and laid back and the way we dress reflects that feeling. Some people call this resort wear, but at Alexandrite Active & Golf Wear like to call it lifestyle; as in golf and activewear.

Let’s talk first about the fabrics—the polyester blends are not the same polyester our grandmothers wore. In fact, these blends of polyester and spandex are stretchable, breathable and some even have sun protection in them making it the optimal fabric for our desert temperatures. The fabrics also have a nice stretch in them allowing you to perform yet stay in shape, to take you to your next commitment. Over the years, golf, tennis and fitness fashion has become more trendy and fashionable with designers adding princess seams, rounded hems, racer backs and cap sleeves on tops and contoured waistbands, zip pockets, pleats and flounces on bottoms to name just a few attributes.
