Spring brings new energy, so the theme in this issue is “Spring into Action”! There’s no better time to start than March 21rst with our Susan K. Currie “Shop Fore A Cause” event. Old Town La Quinta is partnering with the Rancho La Quinta Lady Golfers’ Committee to help raise funds for those fighting cancers. Come out and shop along Old Town’s charming Main Street between 4 and 7 pm and participating stores will donate 15% of all purchases to The Desert Cancer Foundation, Suzanne Jackson Breast Cancer Fund, and the Lucy Curci Cancer Center. All provide support and services for Valley residents dealing with all types of cancer.
We hope you’ll invite your friends to take over Main Street for an evening of shopping, camaraderie and support of this great cause. Many of the merchants will be serving wine and appetizers. Old Town stores donating to this event include Alexandrite Golf & Active Wear, Divas of the Desert, H20 Closet – A Modern Apothecary, Homec Jewelers, La Quinta Olive Oil Company, Le Chateau Boutique, Lulu’s Fine Home & Fashion Accessories, and Tarah Jade Clothing & Accessories. After shopping, gather with friends to enjoy cocktails or a bite to eat at Solano’s, The Grill on Main, Stuft, Pizza, Old Town Tavern, The Wine Emporium or Old Town Taproom!
