Art on Main Street Returns with New Inspiration!

Art on Main Street will feature over 70 new and returning artists for a full 2021-22 season.  

Show Director Shelley Glickstein, comments “Artists have spent a lot of time in their studios over the past 18 months while so many shows were cancelled. Many have developed new styles, explored new design processes, and are very excited about returning to the marketplace.”

Art on Main Street shows are unique in the valley for their dedication to local and Southern California artists with only a few traveling from neighboring states.  Even so, the inspiration for their art is surprisingly international.  While local impressionist Diane McClary exquisitely captures desert color and light in her landscapes, and Leslee Adams captures Southwest and desert style in bold and bright watercolor, many artists originally are from foreign countries expressing a diverse world view through their work.

To travel the world on a Saturday afternoon, just walk down Main Street during an art show.  Meet photographer and world-traveler, Laurent Martres.  Discover jewelry designs by Victor Yurivilca from Peru.  A new artist to Art on Main Street, Itai Chazan from Israel, recently opened Meyave Gallery on Main Street. He creates contemporary and African art with raw, imported stone in collaboration with Zimbabwe artists.
