Come eat, drink, and celebrate this meaningful holiday at TQLAS!
Also known as “The Day of the Dead”, this holiday originated in Mexico and Central America where indigenous groups had specific times when they commemorated their loved ones who had passed away.It is a celebration of life, not death, and like any other celebration, it is filled with music and dancing. In modern day celebrations, people paint their faces to look like skulls to represent a deceased loved one or an expression of themselves.
TQLAS encourages everyone to be creative and come to this celebration with painted faces.Prizes will be awarded throughout the evening for the best artwork.
